We started Simply Sweet Cupcakes in the Fall of 2009 as an online based cupcake business. Tracy and Emily have always shared their passion for baking together. As a little girl, Emily would go to Tracy's house to learn how to create the tastiest treats! Soon after Tracy's family opened Hidden Meadows wedding facility, she noticed many weddings with cupcakes instead of a cake! After Emily graduated from WSU with a degree in Business Management, Tracy mentioned the idea of opening a cupcake business to Emily. It was always Emily's dream to start a business and this was the perfect opportunity. After receiving a great response through their business online, they decided to open up a shop on First Street in Snohomish. Emily and Tracy were THRILLED to share their treats with others! Both were graduates from Snohomish High School and were proud to open their business in a community they grew up in! They opened the first cupcake shop in Snohomish County in May 2010. Since then, they have opened up their second shop in July 2011 at the Snohomish Station next to Udderly Sweet Frozen Yogurt. They hope to continue to grow their business and put smiles on others faces one cupcake at a time!
